As I was experimenting with the materials available in Fusion360, I noticed I was naturally drawn towards cooler shades of blue and pink. The final material selection reflects colours and textures that reminds me of sunsets at the beach, which I do miss seeing while being at home during quarantine. Along with peachy hues and pastel blue and purple sunset colours, I also used textured glass ('frosted light') and mirrors to capture the transparency and reflective nature of the ocean.

This material combination uses a much more monochromatic colour palette, as my personal style tends to gravitate towards a minimalistic approach. To add sophistication to the simple colour scheme, I used mirrors and textured glass ('bubbles') to experiment with its reflectivity of the applied 'skylight' background solid colour.

----------
The final material combination again experiments with light, reflection and transparency. As someone who can be described as an idealist, these materials were chosen to evoke connections to a 'heavenly' or ethereal environment - an 'ideal' world. Mirrors and polished silver reflects the background image of a snow field, the resulting colours of which resemble the sky where an idealist finds their 'head in the clouds'. Glass was used to highlight both the fragility and beauty of an idealist's mind.
